As part of its objective to cover all sectors of the automotive market, Astra is the sole agent and importer of BMW automobiles in Indonesia through PT Tjahja Sakti Motor. Astra provides customers who desire premium high quality vehicles with a choice of BMW models. These are imported in either completely built up (CBU) or completely knock down (CKD) forms. The CKD BMW vehicles are assembled at PT Gaya Motor, another wholly-owned subsidiary of Astra.
