BMW debuts Concept CS
The coupe offers a glimpse of BMW future styling directions, rather than debuting a future production model.
Powered by a 5-litre V10 engine and sitting on massive 21” alloys, the shoulder line eschews the usual Beemer design by swooping down over the rear wheels.
Wider and shorter than the 7 Series, the CS Concept emphasizes a sporty look, with enhanced trademark kidney grille enhances to cool the monster engine. Rearward-facing lights are reflected onto the road ahead to provide a powerful beam without dazzling oncoming drivers, says BMW.
Fancy-pants concept styling is provided by door handles that pop out of the bodywork when sensors detect the owner. In addition to doing away with normal door handles, lights and aircon vents are replaced by slender slits in the interior trim.
Cocooning sports seats with inbuilt multimedia features and ceramic controls round off the craziness. We think the interior looks pretty cool, though.
