Honda’s revised S2000 roadster is now on sale in the UK.

It’s received new suspension settings - identical to those in the Japanese-market S2000 Type-S - with re-tuned dampers, uprated springs and thicker anti-roll bars; Honda promises ‘greater stability, agile handling and more responsive steering’.

The high-revving 2.0-litre, 240bhp engine remains unchanged, but the S2000 does get new-design five-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels, a choice of three new leather upholstery finishes (black with red stitching, brown with red stitching and red with black sides) and the option of new Synchro Silver paint. The frames of the seats’ headrests have been redesigned for improved rollover protection.

Prices for the range currently start from £28,050 for the Roadster, and from £28,600 for the GT with detachable hard-top.
